Innovative and integrated approaches, methods and tools
for Mediterranean forest ecosystem management
Study Scholarships for MEDFOREM Partners in 2007
MEDFOREM welcomes applications from participants of the
2nd Advanced MEDFOREM Course 2006 who are studying at the MEDFOREM partner
institutions.
The scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis. The field of the
study should fit in the MEDFOREM priority areas: (i) forest management
and planning (ii) forest economics.
The selection criteria are the applicant’s previous academic
success in the MEDFOREM course, the overall quality of the study plan and the
application, and the feasibility of the part of work planned to be carried out
at the host institution, and applicant’s language skills (see
GUIDELINES FOR APPLICANTS).
In total 4 grants will be awarded (at least one per partner country). Each
scholarship will be for 7-10 days. In this period the successful candidates will
stay and work at the institution of the selected expert (see
GUIDELINES FOR APPLICANTS). The MEDFOREM grant will cover the travel
expenses in economy class as well as the costs of stay.
